Jim Davenport
FOUNDER AND PRESIDENT
Jim is the President and Owner of Long Lake Marina. He purchased Long Lake Marina in May of 1999 and then became the President and CEO in January of 2002. Prior to entering the marine industry, Jim went to college and got his degree in criminal justice and environmental science from Raritan Valley College. He began his career for the New Jersey Transit Police Department in 1983. He then transferred over to the Montgomery Township Police Department in Belle Mead, New Jersey in 1985. He then retired from the Montgomery Township Police Department in January of 2002. Jim’s hobbies include hiking, fishing, boating, and he is an antique car enthusiast. His 1970 Ford Mustang and 1966 Ford Bronco can be seen driving around in the summer months. He also enjoys football, ice hockey, snowmobiling, water sports, and beer stein collecting.
James Davenport
SALES AND MARKETING DIRECTOR
James is native of New Jersey along with the rest of the Davenport clan. James learned the ins and outs of the family business and after college was prepared to jump in as the Sales and Marketing Director. With a vision and a talented team of people, James has led Long Lake Marina to multiple Yamaha Super High Output CSI Awards and consecutive CSI Awards with Tahoe for 10+ years. In his free time, he enjoys working at the marina and spending time with his Bluetick Coonhound, Susie Q. Next time you see him, ask him about the time we took him skiing!
Jon Norris
Fiberglass Sales Specialist
Jon grew up in and around the lake’s region of Maine. He started his career at the marina during the summer of 2013 in the service department. Jon has since moved into a sales position and is now the best medium tall salesman east of the Mississippi. He is a fan of Vin Diesel, tan Tacomas, and riding his dirt bike through the woods at night. Next time you see him, ask him about his Harley.
Emily Poulin
Delivery Coordinator
Em is a native of Poland, Maine, and has been with LLM since 2019. She currently acts as our Delivery Coordinator/Finance Manager. She is a SNHU alum and enjoys hiking and skiing, and she loves martinis, caesar salad, and french fries. She’s also a big Giants’ fan. Kyle Lorrain
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Kyle grew up in Western Maine and has been with us since the summer of 2017. Starting as an Apprentice Technician Kyle has since moved into a Service Technician role. Kyle enjoys riding his 4-wheeler in the summer, snowmobile in the winter, and will eat anything his mom cooks. Follow Kyle's adventures @fullsend207
Alan Brousseau-Works
Pontoon Sales Specialist
Al is a native of Windham and came aboard in a sales role during 2019. Since then, Al now manages the Bridgton location and is our pontoon, dock and boat lift specialist. In a previous life, Al worked as a commercial fisherman in Portland. He enjoys shredding the trails in his side-by-side, selling party barges, and the Jamaican Vibrations Amazon music channel. Stephen Gordon
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Stephen started in the marine industry during high school and went on to Marine Mechanics Institute in Florida. Stephen has been with Long Lake Marina for the better part of seven years. Stephen is one of our Service Technicians is certified in Mercury, Yamaha, and PCM engines. He enjoys four wheeling, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family. Next time you see him, ask him about the time Kyle ran out of gas.
Darby Coyne
Waterfront/Operations Manager
Darby is originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and has worked at Long Lake Marina since the summer of 2016. He graduated from Clarkson University with a Mechanical Engineering degree, and he now runs operations at our waterfront location. When Darby isn’t working, he loves to go skiing and teaches at Pleasant Mountain during the off-season. Next time you see him, ask him if he knows where his shoes are. He’s always losing them somewhere.
Steve Malspini
RIGGING & CUSTOMS MANAGER
Steve has been with us for quite some time. He started with us 21 years ago as a dock hand and has worked his way up to Lead Service Technician. He is actually our longest standing employee! Steve is certified in Yamaha, Mercury, and PCM Engines. Steve is part of the rip squad and full send 207. During the offseason he enjoys snowmobiling, shredding the mountain, and spending time with his family. Next time you see him, ask him about his ’72 Cutlass 442.
Rick Tripp
WARRANTY/SERVICE ADVISOR
Originally from Westport Ma. Rick was raised on the water with his family marina that designs the Tripp Angler. Rick moved to Maine with his family and lived at a marina and worked side by side with his father till he was old enough to be hired on as an employee. After high school Rick joined the US Coast Guard and spent 12 years running search and rescue missions, anti-terrorism, and working with the Secret Service. From there Rick moved out west to be a service manager at MasterCraft Seattle. Rick joined us in 2020 after he moved back to Maine to be closer to his family. In his free time Rick enjoys wake surfing and relaxing on the lake.
Chris Rascoe
General Manager
Chris joined us in 2015 after spending six years managing a warehouse for a food distribution company. He was looking for a career change and it just so happened that his girlfriend's father (Jim Davenport) owned a marina. Chris started out as a Customer Service Advisor in our service department and has since been promoted to General Manager of Long Lake Marina. Chris's responsibilities include working through big issues and improving employee morale. In his free time Chris enjoys long motorcycle rides with his now wife Melissa and spending time with his kids. His favorite part of working at Long Lake Marina is the customer interaction as he did not have much of that in the warehouse. Next time you see him, ask him about the time he was attacked by chipmunks.
Cheryl Kimball
ACCOUNTANT
Cheryl is part of our accounting team and has been with us since 2014. Before Long Lake Marina Cheryl was part of Bill Dodge Auto Group. In her free time, she enjoys renovating her house in Standish. Next time you see her ask her about her freshly updated bathroom
Kelly Gannett
ASSISTANT BOOKKEEPER
Kelly is a self-confessed Air Force brat. Growing up her father was in the Air Force which brought the family all around the world. Born in Maine and raised all over, Kelly finished high school in Utah and came back to Maine for college. Kelly is our assistant bookkeeper here at the Marina and has been with us since 2019. Aside from spending time with her two daughters she enjoys hiking, going to baseball games, and working on stained glass in her free time. If you happen to run into Kelly, ask her about her two Himalayan Dwarf Goats.
Dan Taylor
Service Technician
Dan is originally from Oxford, Maine, and joined the Long Lake Marina team in the summer of 2023. Before joining us here in Naples, he was an aviation mechanic in the Marines for five years, and he has now entered the marine industry. When he isn’t working in our service department, Dan enjoys going golfing and fishing with his best friend, Kyle. Next time you see him, ask him about how all the New England sports teams are doing
Ryan Charette
Yard Manager
Ryan has been in the marine industry since 2003 and is a critical part of the operations at our service department. Originally from Lake Region, Maine, he now still resides here in Maine with his wife and two children. In his free time, Ryan loves to go dirt biking on his vintage dirt bikes, and he would love to tell you all about it. If you’re ever at our service department, he’ll probably be the one in the colorful socks.
Jay Bryan
Service Advisor
Originally from Brownfield, Maine, Jay has been in the service industry since 2014 and joined the marine industry in 2022. When he isn’t at our service department, he loves grilling, fishing, and reading. He loves reading anything and everything and has an extensive book collection. Amber Bellanceau
Service Advisor/E-Commerce Coordinator
Amber is usually the first face you see when you walk into our service department in Naples. She is originally from Lake Region, Maine, and has worked in the marine industry since 2015. She started working here at Long Lake Marina in the early winter of 2024. When she’s not working, she loves adventuring with her two daughters, Emerson and Leighton. She also loves boating, cooking, and trying new recipes.
Emma Gallant
Social Media & Copy Coordinator
Emma grew up in Windham, Maine, and has lived here in Maine her entire life. She started working for us in the summer of 2022 as a dock hand and is now helping out with several other functions within the company. She is an alumna of Brown University where she studied English and was on the track and field team. In her free time, Emma enjoys reading, writing, journaling, and spending time with friends and family.
Danali Jenson
Lead Detailer
Danali is originally from Naples, Maine, and works with us at our service department. He became interested in boats through sailing when he was nine years old, and after that he stuck with the boating industry. He has worked here at Long Lake Marina since the spring of 2023, and he likes to go skiing during the off-season.
Zach Cox
Service/Fiberglass Technician
Zac is originally from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and he grew up surrounded by boats. He fixed his first boat when he was 12 and was hooked from there. He graduated from the Landing School of Boat Building and Design in 2007 for Cold Molded Boat Building and has been involved in the boat industry for his entire life. When he’s not boating, he’s thinking about boats. He joined us at Long Lake Marina in 2021, and when he’s not working, he enjoys fishing on the ocean and spending time with his two children, Gwen and Charlie.
Rick Berry
Fiberglass Technician
Rick is originally from Casco, Maine, and he started working with us here at Long Lake Marina in the fall of 2021. He has been involved in the boating industry since 2012, and before coming to LLM and worked at Sabre Yachts for a period of time as well. When he isn’t busy at our Bridgton location, he enjoys working on his house and going out on his side-by-side.
Buddy Foisey
Rigging Technician
Buddy joined us here at Long Lake Marina as a rigging technician in the spring of 2024. Originally from Conway, New Hampshire, he has been in the boat industry forever beginning with working on family members’ boats in his childhood. He has also been in the mechanical industry for his entire life and has worked on diesel engines since he was eight years old. In his free time, Buddy enjoys escaping on his motorcycle, riding his four wheeler, and snowmobiling.
Doug Horne
Operations
Doug is originally from Albany, Maine, and has been involved in the marine industry for over twenty years. Before joining LLM in the spring of 2024, he was a longtime freestyle mogul coach at Gould Academy, which he enjoyed very much, but he is now fully committed to the boat business. In his free time, Doug loves to spend time with his daughter, Remi, and they love to go surfing together.
Sam Moody
Marketing Content Specialist
Sam began his digital media career in Broadcast News, working in the marketing department to promote their evening broadcast; which would soon become the #1 program in Maine ratings. After developing a solid base in video editing and motion graphics, he turned towards Live Entertainment and Sports. With an editing suite in Washington D.C., he’d edit videos featuring celebrities such as Tyreek Hill, Quavo, Marshawn Lynch and Joe Montana. These skills in digital media then became the footing for the direction in which he would take Long Lake Marina’s marketing content. With clean graphics and faster edits that compliment the sales department's on-screen talent, we’re redefining Marine Marketing in Maine.
Cole Fournier
Delivery Captain
Cole is originally from Biddeford, Maine, and has worked here at LLM since 2019. He has been involved in the marine industry since 2016, and he is a watersports aficionado. When out on Long Lake, you can often see him out surfing or foilboarding, and he spends his winters working and snowboarding in Utah. He also ran a pizza shop for a year in the past and loves pizza, but he hates cheese.
