 Long Lake Marina is a family owned company established in May of 1999. As the story goes, Jim Davenport was here with his family on vacation, visiting the Fryburg Fair, when they came across Long Lake Marina which was just listed for sale. Interestingly the corporate name, coined by the locals, 2 Kops from Jersey Inc. came about during many visits and conversations at the local Brew Pub, Bray's.(read the staff bio and see Jim was a police officer from New Jersey) You ask why "K" for cops? Simple function of copyright laws---"C"ops was taken so "K"ops it was!
The new SERVICE CENTER is complete! Featuring the latest and greatest state of the art tools and work stations we are able to offer year round marine service. With the addition of a full fiberglass repair shop we can now offer fiberglass repairs to our customers in addition to light upholstery repairs. Full detail (cleaning) services are available upon request for boats, personal watercraft and snowmobiles alike. We offer year-round service and sales of Tahoe pontooon boats, Yamaha watercraft and jetboats,Ebbtide boats, Mercury and Yamaha outboard motors, and Polaris snowmobiles. We strive to be the best in everything we do. Winter/summer storage of your recreation vehicle our speciality. Gas docks, full retail store for summer and winter accessories and apparel and boat rentals are just some of the services we offer. Please call the shop for more details.
