Long Lake Marina is a family owned company established in May of 1999. As the story goes, Jim Davenport was here with his family on vacation, visiting the Fryeburg Fair, when they came across Long Lake Marina which was just listed for sale. Interestingly the corporate name, coined by the locals, 2 Kops from Jersey Inc. came about during many visits and conversations at the local Brew Pub, Bray's.(read the staff bio and see Jim was a police officer from New Jersey) You ask why "K" for cops? Simple function of copyright laws "C"ops was taken so "K"ops it was!
The new SERVICE CENTER is complete! Featuring state of the art tools and work stations we are able to offer year round marine service. We also added a full fiberglass repair shop, including everything from basic scratch removal to major structural repairs.Full detail and cleaning services are available upon request for boats, personal watercraft and snowmobiles alike. We offer year-round service and sales of Tahoe pontoon boats, Yamaha watercraft and jet boats,Ebbtide boats, Mercury outboards,Yamaha outboards, Mercrusier inboard outboards, Volvo Penta inboard outboards, and Polaris snowmobiles. We strive to be the best in everything we do. Winter/summer storage of your recreation vehicle is our specialty, we have over 150 indoor racks and 11 acres of outdoor storage at our off site facility.
